Timing is everything.
Kara reached out to inquire about my availability about two weeks before her wedding date. There were planning a tiny wedding anyway, but not until later in the year, and were able to shift their plans along with the proverbial shifting tide. Well, I had that weekend free, and we were good to go. Their wedding date in mid-March dawned drizzly, but the gloom burned off to give us a beautiful warm day on the beach. I'm so glad I purposefully try to keep my schedule underbooked so that I can be flexible when these opportunities arise. What an honor to document this beautiful, intimate, magical wedding. The glow stayed with. me for weeks afterwards. I'm so lucky to do this work! I get to take pictures of people in love. What could be better?!
